Now that we are in the swing of fall we find once the temperature drops Colds and flu cases start popping up! How many times have you as a parent come home to a sick family member. Being sick is no fun but having a family of sick kids is just horrible for everyone especially for mom and dad. I say this because where do kids love go in the middle of the night? Mom and dad's room to sleep. This is why something as taking the time to wash your hands can keep the germs away but keep your family out of the doctors office this season.
You could even make this a game or a fun activity with your pre-school aged children. Making bubbles in your hands with nice smelling soap is a sensory experience that most children love and you will find that the more practice they have at it, the better they get.
